An under-used park in Trail could be getting a face-lift.
John Howes, a technician with the city’s engineering department, says maintenance at Centennial Park is putting a strain on staff.
The city is looking at restoring the park to it’s natural condition.
Plans include planting more trees, adding a trail network and implementing a storm water management system.
The park was provided in 1967 to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Canada’s confederation.
