An RCMP dive team scouring the bottom of Slocan Lake near New Denver has found no signs of the three missing youth thought to have drowned .
The very cold water and depths of 450-feet are proving very challenging for the crew.
RCMP Sergeant Darryl Little “is” dismissing misinformation that went around the community on Monday.
The dive team will be back in the water on Tuesday and the helicopter will again search the wider area.
The Bigelow Bay area has been the main focus.
The three young men are thought to have perished Saturday in a canoeing tragedy that has already claimed the life of a young woman.
