Wilks suggests Leadnow poll does him a favour

In this last week of the federal election campaign a local conservative says a recent poll by the Leadnow  group has done him a favour.

The group is encouraging people to vote strategically to ensure Conservative candidates like David Wilks don’t get in.

But they have also published a poll suggesting the NDP’s Wayne Stetski is running neck-and-neck with Wilks in the Kootenay-Columbia riding.

He says that helps get his vote out too.

But Wilks suggests the idea of strategic vote sharing as Leadnow is recommending is wrong because it tells voters to choose someone who may not meet their values.
