Friends of the Grand Forks dog park are hoping the city will approve a cost-sharing plan to expand and improve the facility that was established a few years ago.

Sims says residents and tourists are shying away from the dog park because it’s too small.
He’s looking for an expansion, plus a seperate area for small dogs as well as a shelter and port-a-potty for owners.
