Grand Forks residents can expect an average $124 tax increase this year.
That’s compared to a $54 average increase the previous year.
CAO Doug Allin calls it a moderate increase and stresses the importance between tax increase and services that are provided.
He says this budget will be setting Grand Forks on a strong financial position for future years.
The community will be able to voice any concerns regarding the budget a number of ways including via a survey.
The budget is set for final approval May 9th.
