A local group is calling Wednesday night’s Climate Action Town Hall meeting a once in a lifetime opportunity to speak out on Canada’s climate plan.
Montana Burgess – the Executive Director of the West Kootenay Eco Society- is expecting over 300 people at Nelson’s Prestige Lakeside.
Each person gets two minutes at the mic to make their point or submit their idea. So she says not everyone may get a chance to speak.
The meeting starts at 6-30 pm and is hosted by NDP MP Wayne Stetski who will forward all input to the Feds.
