Selkirk College has secured three separate grants from a Federal fund for various research projects.
They will focus on workforce development and open data for government as well as advancing the calls to action from the First Nations Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Vice President of Education and Students Neil Coburn says the money speaks to the ongoing credibility of the college’s work.
The $600,000 in funding will support more than 30 research positions for students, graduates and faculty working in partnerships with community.
