Three record high temperatures were set in Castlegar last month.
The Southeast Fire Centre’s weather office says it got up to 33.3, 36.8 and 36.1 degrees on the 5th, 6th, and 7th respectively.
On average it was only slightly warmer than normal but quite a bit wetter with 142 per cent of the typical rainfall.
Nearly half of it fell on the 23rd and 24th.
