The local unemployment rate didn’t change too much last month compared to a year ago.
Statistics Canada says it stood at 7.5 per cent versus 7.3 per cent in June 2015.
Fifty-four hundred people were out of work which was pretty much the same as last year.
The national jobless rate was 6.8 per cent and in BCÂ it was the lowest in the country at 5.9 per cent.
