Two men and a woman are in custody after the BC liquor store in Fruitvale was robbed this morning.
RCMP say at 9 a.m. a man entered with a handgun and made off with a “significant” amount of money.
Witnesses were able to provide police with a vehicle description.
About an hour later, all three suspects were arrested near the Bank of Montreal on Bay Ave. in Trail.
An imitation handgun was recovered as well as a large amount of cash.
Police say all three suspects are from Trail and well known to them.
They remain in custody pending a court appearance in Nelson on Monday morning.
