The hike or bike for seniors housing in the Slocan Valley this past weekend raised $35,000.
Eighty-three people took part in the three-day journey along the rail trail from Crescent Valley to Slocan.
Housing society chair Rita Moir says one woman even did it with a walker.
Moir says they were blown away by the support they received and amount they raised.
The money will go towards building a 12-unit seniors housing complex in Slocan City.
You can still donate online until Oct. 15 by going to svhousing.ca or email Moir at [email protected].
