It’s back to the bargaining table today for Kootenay Savings and its unionized employees.
Mediator Dave Schuab will try to help the two sides reach a new collective agreement when they meet in Trail.
The union has voted more than 96 per cent in favour of a strike.
The key sticking points are pension protection language and a two-year wage freeze.
The affected branches include Castlegar, Trail, Fruitvale, Salmo, South Slocan, and Kaslo.
