UPDATED: Pass Creek woman found

Castlegar RCMP say a missing Pass Creek woman has been found.

Darilee Nolie, 54, was located at the hospital in Kelowna today and is safely with police there.

“She is fine and will be brought back home in the near future,” Sgt. Laurel Mathew said in a news release. “The sharing of this story through social media is what led us to know she was in Kelowna and allowed us to locate her.”

Nolie was seen in a Denny’s restaurant in Kelowna around 1 a.m. today, but left before staff realized she was a missing person.

She left home Tuesday and was last sighted that afternoon catching a ride to Crescent Valley.
