A wildfire has been spotted a short distance from Castlegar
The fire, which can be seen from Highway 3, was discovered yesterday by the BC Wildfire Service about 18 kilometers out of town.
The fires is burning at 0.04 hectares and is not considered a fire of note.
It is believed to be human-caused.
