City of Trail approves rec fee changes

Changes to Trail’s Recreation Fees and Charges Bylaw will see facility rental costs double for those non-residents whose community does not have an agreement.
City Council has approved the amended rules part of the Trail Resident Program that will take affect in early September.

Director of Parks and Recreation Trisha Davison says the biggest changes for non-residents will be that rental rates will now be double that of resident rates.

Davison says another major change is adult sports teams will have a deadline to submit rosters in order to receive the discounted rate.

Any team member that is a non-resident will need to purchase a sports pass.
However if you are from outside of the Greater Trail region you will be issued a sports pass at no cost.
