A longtime Trail residents has announced his intentions to run for mayor in October’s election.
Casey LeMoel runs and manages a number of businesses in Trail.
LeMoel says he wants to ensure the community remains an affordable place to live.
He says he’s been considering running for mayor the past number of years and has set some goals.
LeMoel says the current city council has done a great job.
He highlights some of the big projects they’ve undertaken the past few years.
LeMoel’s inviting the community to his meet and greet event at the Gulch General Store March 17.
Municipal elections are October 20.
