Conroy says NDP budget makes a difference for families

Kootenay West’s MLA says the NDP’s budget has some new funding initiatives that will impact families around the province.

This includes the elimination of MSP Premiums by January 2020.

Katrine Conroy says another is the removal of deductibles for families earning annual net incomes below $30,000 for BC’s Fair Pharma Care Program.

Conroy says another highlight for her is the investment of $1-billion into childcare.

She takes a keen interest in this as Minister of Children and Family Development.
