Selkirk College looks at tweaks for HAC labs

Selkirk College wants to make it’s Health Care Assistant Program more accessible.

Dean of health and human services Rhys Andrews says the course’s lab components are at the Trail campus.

They want to make some of the program’s labs available online.

He says they’d like to add more seats for the program as well.

It aims to fill gaps in our region’s health care sector.

The program is 6 months and consists of 16 weeks of theory and lab courses.
