City awards Hazardous Material Abatement contract for Union Hotel

The City of Trail has awarded the contract for hazardous material abatement at the Union Hotel and neighbouring property purchased by the City last year. Director of Public Works, Chris McIsaac says work should start later this month.

Phoenix Enterprises Ltd. from Surrey will be doing the work. The estimated cost came in at $300,000 which is under budget.

It’s been located on Victoria Street since 1939.
