Some new public art projects received funding this week from the Columbia Basin Trust. Over $244,000 will go to projects in 11 communities. Aimee Ambrosone with the CBT says it’s the first year for the grant program.
Ambrosone says the program wants to accomplish two different goals.
The City of Trail received $8,500 for a mural next to the library and in Nelson the Touchstones Museum of Art and History received $30,000 for an art installation. T0 see full list of supported projects, click here.
