A new piece of public art is coming to Rossland. The Museum and Discovery Centre applied for funding from the Columbia Basin Trust’s Public Art Grants and was awarded $15,500. Lana Jamieson, Operations and Program Manager at the museum, says it’ll go towards a metal work piece.
Rossland’s Moustache Metalworks will involved.
Jamieson says the CBT’s grant program provided a wonderful opportunity to contribute more art work to the downtown.
She says the museum will have to contribute $4,500 toward the project.
