Wildsafe BC set for deer culling questions this fall

The deer population in Grand Forks is a big concern for most residents.

So says local Wildsafe BC Co-ordinator Laurie Grant after the City announced they will ask residents what they think about a possible deer cull as part of the November municipal election ballot.

Grant says she and the Wildsafe BC Program are neither supportive or against the idea of a cull – but says the problem is serious.

Grant admits there is a problem in Grand Forks with many residents who still feed the deer.

She expects to hear a lot of questions about deer culling leading up to the November vote.
