The City of Grand Forks is looking to be more specific with a question on this year’s election ballot about a possible deer cull.
City Councillor Gary Smith says the single query will ask residents their thoughts on a potential cull when they head to the polls in this November’s municipal vote.
Smith says about seven years ago they had a survey with approximately 12 questions on the ballot that proved to be unsuccessful.
Smith says their spring deer population count resulted in the highest numbers ever.
