End the public disengagement:candidate

Janice Morrison is among 12 council candidates running in Nelson.

She says voters need to get more involved because at the moment she says she sees a period of “contented disengagement.”

Morrison – a physio-therapist and B&B owner- served one term on council over a decade ago.

She adds the city needs to invest more in attracting business and in fibre optic broadband because that’s modern infrastructure that should be handled just like water and sewer
