Incumbent rural Director for RDCK Area E Ramona Faust says the board followed a clear grading system on what they wanted regarding the controversial office furniture contract being awarded to an out of town company.

She adds the vast majority of the RD’s spending is in the Nelson area.

Faust says she’s like to see many projects to completion like upgrades to the Rec Centre, a boat launch in Blewett, highway shoulder improvements and upgrades at Morning Mountain.
