Area F candidate running on transparency/fiscal responsibility

Kevin Lepape says he’s running for the vacant Area F rural director seat because he sees the need for a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and transparency … something he says has been lacking in recent years.

Lepape – a retired salesman – says for example the RDCK wasn’t very honest in announcing their recent financial picture.

He says among the biggest issues facing residents is the cost they’ll face to upgrade small water systems in line with new provincial health standards. He says the RDCK has to keep taxes in check if residents are facing these additional costs.
