ID needed if not on local election voter's list

A reminder for voters heading into tomorrow’s Civic Elections.

Nelson’s Chief Election Officer Frances Long explains what is needed before casting a ballot.

Voters across the region will choose one candidate for mayor, up to six for council and two for local school trustee.

The polls are open from 8 am til 8 pm.

Four of the five main centres in the area will be using an automated voting system.
