The only incumbent councillor in Nakusp seeking re-election was also the most popular choice among local voters.
Aidan McLaren-Caux finished first with 350 votes. He’ll be joined on council by Mason Hough (299), Dawn Edwards (275), and Tina Knooihuizen. All are newcomers to local politics.
Missing the cut were Jo Law (133), Victoria Youmans (114), and Andreea Myhal (82).
Mayor Tom Zeleznik had already been re-elected by acclamation.
