The City of Grand Forks is not unique when it comes to their deer problems.
So says city Councillor Chris Hammett who attended a day and a half deer management workshop put on by the Union of BC Municipalities in the Lower Mainland last week.
Hammett says the worse-off areas are in the East Kootenay and on the Island.
She adds she will present a report to council at the next meeting and that will determine how the City proceeds.
Grand Forks conducted a referendum in November with the majority of the electorate supporting a deer cull.
