Entire Village of New Denver under evacuation alert

The RDCK has issued an Evacuation Alert for the entire Village of New Denver due to the Wilson Creek wildfire.  

A list of the affected addresses can be found here.

Residents aren’t required to evacuate at this time, however, it’s important to be prepared and remain vigilant in case an evacuation order is issued. 

  • Prepare an emergency kit 
  • Make arrangements for your pets and/or livestock to be moved to a safe area 
  • Plan on where you can stay if evacuated
