On Sunday, August 18, at 3:24 p.m. a frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP officer responded to a report of single motor vehicle incident where a 42-year-old Warfield man and his passenger sustained injuries from the crash.

The vehicle was heavily damaged and the airbags deployed, with both occupants treated at the scene by BC EHS.

The officer arrested the 42-year-old Warfield man for Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The man was released by the officer at scene.
