Trail’s air cadets have boosted their skills following a weekend of challenging activities in Vernon over the weekend.
Trail sent 24 cadets to join 200 other sea, army, and air cadets from the East and West Kootenays and the Thompson areas of the interior of BC to advance their leadership training, marksmanship, complete a confidence course, abseil, and tour a CH-149 Cormorant helicopter from RCAF 442 Transport and Rescue Squadron in Comox.
Trail’s air cadet squadron meets every Wednesday evening in Kemball Armoury at 1900 7th Ave from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
There are also activities on select weekends throughout the year.
If you are interested, new cadets can register online at https://registration.cadets.gc.ca/get-started.html?unitId=174
