Castlegar RCMP have arrested a man with 10 outstanding warrants.
Police had asked for the public’s assistance in January to locate Russell Sapriken.
They received a tip from a local business earlier this month that Sapriken was in their store.
Corporal Debbie Postnikoff says they arrested him and he was sentenced to 10 months in custody followed by a year of probation.
Sapriken’s list of offences included driving while prohibited, breach of recognizance and theft under $5,000.
The charges stem from a number of incidents in Castlegar and Trail between 2013-2014.
