The City of Trail could go one step further when trying to attract a developer for the Esplanade Lands.
This from City councillor Sandy Santori who says they need to work with the realtor to entice a buyer for what he believes is an excellent location for a residential – business mix.
Santori says maybe they need to do some of the preparatory work a developer would normally do and create a business case on residential housing.
Santori points out the City just finished their latest strategic plan that has developing the Esplanade lands as a top priority.
