Salmo has named a new village administrator.
She’s Diane Kalen-Sukra, previously the deputy corporate officer in Castlegar.
Mayor Stephen White says she’s already been doing the job on an acting basis for a while.
Salmo hasn’t had a permanent administrator in a year and a half after Scott Sommerville left for Kimberley and his replacement was soon fired.
