A vehicle carrying six people fell 100 feet down an embankment outside of Castlegar early Sunday morning.
Emergency services arrived before 2 am in the Fairview area as a car left the road on Highway 22 and hit numerous trees on the way down.
Castlegar Fire Chief Gerry Rempel says only two of the occupants were able to escape from the vehicle.
Rempel says it appeared the injuries were non-life threatening but there has been no update on their condition.
Castlegar RCMP says they do believe alcohol was a factor and a passenger may have been bothering the driver.
There were also only five seat belts in the car but it was carrying six people.
