Two suspects have been arrested in the Queen City after an armed robbery at the Nelson District Credit Union Friday afternoon.
Details are sketchy and Nelson Police would not immediately give too many details but we spoke to Police Chief Wayne Holland at the scene.
Holland says no one was injured in the robbery and he’s thanking Nelson Police and RCMP officers for their excellent co-operation.
There are unconfirmed reports the male suspect used a mountain bike and police gave chase. Holland would not give details but spoke with a level of guarded relief.
.
There has been no statement from police as to whether they believe these are also suspects in previous armed robberies in our region recently.
