A change of plans when it comes to a potential All Wheel Skate Park in Trail.
The city is putting a community survey aimed at understanding residents’ support for the estimated $700,000 project on hold.
This is because they are now applying to the new Canada 150 Community Infrastructure program for 50% of the cost.
However, instead of asking residents where they would like to see the park – the city will earmark property in their application.
Director of Parks and Recreation Trisha Davison says that property is beside the boat launch in Gyro Park.
The All Wheel Park has been nearly 20 years in the making.
