The RDCK Director For Area E would like a public meeting to be held regarding the proposed heli ski operation near Kokanee Park.
Ramona Faust wants the province or the proponent to host a forum that would hear residents concerns.
Faust adds the proposal by Kootenay Heli – Ski is counter to the Regional District’s greenhouse gas reduction strategy for recreation.
She says their community plan recommends the province does hold public meetings if their is a change in land use.
