Warfield still hopeful for shared rec services deal

The Village of Warfield wants to go back and address their original concerns about a shared services agreement with the City of Trail.

This from Village Mayor Bert Crockett after a press release was sent out to residents and the Silver City to say they were willing to start up negotiations again to reach a deal on recreation.

However, Crockett claims the problem is Trail has a set formula for charging outside residents.

Crockett says all municipalities in the surrounding region – including B.V and Warfield – should be open to re-enter negotiations for a shared recreation services agreement.
