Krista Kalmikoff – the woman charged in connection with the armed robbery in Nelson last week – has been released from custody.
Sam Van Schie – a reporter with the Nelson Star – was in court Wednesday afternoon.
Court documents show 26 year old Kalmikoff and her partner – 33 year old Andrew Stevenson – now face more charges related to other alleged crimes.
He’s charged with firing a gun and disguising himself in the intent of committing a crime on April 11th.
That’s when the Currency Exchange in Nelson was the target of an armed robbery.
He and Kalmikoff are also charged in connection with a break and enter in Castlegar Good Friday when two pharmacies were targetted.
Stevenson was badly hurt after Friday’s police chase and was not in court.
