Trail unveils plan to inform public on bridge build

Trail is unveiling an extensive communication plan for residents before the public decides if they want the City to borrow nearly $5 million to construct a pedestrian pipe bridge.

The $12,000 plan outlines a number of components that need to be considered especially illustrating to citizens the crossing is a one time opportunity to partner with the RDKB and save money.

Here’s Communication and Events Co-ordinator Andrea Jolly.

Jolly says they also propose they add town hall meetings to the campaign leading up to the expected July vote.

A referendum was forced after 10% of the electorate supported a petition against the crossing.
