Push to clean up Rossland wetlands

There are benefits to restoring the North Jubilee Park wetlands in Rossland.

This from a pair of residents who are seeking City Council’s permission to conduct a feasibility study that would look at reconstructing the area north of the RSS soccer fields.

One of them is Rachel Roussin who says there are a couple of aspects of the area they are looking to improve.

Roussin says they also hope to make the project an example of a green infrastructure solution to municipal water management.

If the study is approved, they hope to present a restoration plan to Council by the fall.
