A group of Salmo secondary students are raising funds to help build a home for a family in Mexico.
Vice-principal Sacha Kalabis says the Peak leadership class is heading there next March.
The class is selling poinsettias and will host a fundraiser at the Salmo ski hill in February.
They need about $10,000 to cover both travel and the project itself.
