The South East Fire Centre responded to a small fire two kilometers north of Robson yesterday. Fire Information Officer Ashley Davidoff says they’re hoping to have it officially out this afternoon.
Davidoff says the cause was likely lightening.
She says as of today the fire danger rating for the South East Fire Centre is very low to low although some small patches in the East Kootenay are considered moderate to extreme.
