One Grand Forks City Councillor candidate is advocating the formation of a local destination marketing organization.
Lorraine Dick says her top priorities would be attracting tourism and business if she were elected in next month’s civic elections.
She believes a major problem is a lot of business is shutting down in Grand Forks.
Dick – who has lived in Grand Forks for seven years – says she’s passionate about the community she lives in and feels it is time to give back to it.
