Man accused in Castlegar arson misses court again

Another bench warrant has been issued for a man accused of setting a fire downtown Castlegar.

Riley James Jackson, who was born in 1994, was a no-show in court this week. He previously skipped an appearance in July, but police later found him.

He is charged with one count of arson in a June 4 incident where some wooden pallets burned behind a business. The fire put itself out with minimal damage.

He’s also accused of breach of undertaking.
