Pair face charges after handgun seized in Robson

A man and a woman are each facing weapons charges after police executed a search warrant on a property in Robson.

Castlegar RCMP say they went to the property in the 3600 block of Broadwater Road on Nov. 30 and arrested with the pair without incident.

A search turned up a loaded handgun reported stolen following a break and enter at a Krestova home on April 24.

Laurence Mckay, 42, is being held on several weapons-related offences and will be in court on Wednesday for a bail hearing.

Serena Phillips, 43, faces similar charges and was released on bail pending an April 3 court appearance.
