A winless weekend for Nelson, a home and home split for Castlegar against Spokane, and the B.V Nite Hawks soared in a pair of contests with Grand Forks.
Nelson were victims of a 3-0 shutout in Columbia Valley Friday before a 5-1 shortfall in Fernie Saturday.
Castlegar edged Spokane 3-2 Friday but were flattened 7-1 in castlegar the next night.
And B.V outscored Grand Forks 17-6 in a weekend home and home exchange – with an 8-3 win Saturday and a 9-3 shellacking Sunday.
Grand Forks was also kept off the score sheet Friday in a 9-0 final against Golden.
