Beaver Valley Nitehawks have almost filled their roster ahead of the 2024-25 season, adding seven new recruits to their team list.
Nitehawks’ Coach and General Manager Terry Jones says they feel they’ve done a great job recruiting talent, including some local players.
“We’re excited about our team and the returning players, and I’m hoping to just get a little further along in the playoffs. So, lots of work that goes towards how to be making that happen.” said Jones.
New Recruits
Brock Robertson– forward- Grand Prairie Storm U18AAA
Connor Martel- forward- Knights of Columbus KC Colts U18AA
Simon Mendiola– forward- Knights of Columbus KC Colts U18AA
Owen Dixon– forward- West Kootenay Crusaders U18AA
Jonathan Strecheniuk– defenseman- Knights of Columbus KC Colts U18AA
Sam Charters– defenseman- Okanagan Rockets U18AAA
Mason Dixon– defenseman- Great Trail Smoke Eaters U18
“We spend a lot of time getting to know them, and we feel like they’re all really good quality character kits, and we’re looking forward to spending more time with them, but we feel like they’ll fit into our group right away.” said Jones.
The team are eagerly awaiting the return to the ice in August to begin formal training.
